The five-year-old horse Normandy, by Gascony from Auratum,. collapsed and died on the Randwick track today. Normandy, who was a member of G. Price’s team, was rapidly striking form, although he failed to win a race last season. The trainer, Lewis, is sending Te Hero to Melbourne to-night to join his stablemate L’Aiglon. The jockey W. Cook, who has been rising remarkably well in . Sydney, will ride Feminist in the Caulfield Cup. He will ride Beau Vite in the Melbourne Stakes and the Victoria Derby.
