TURKISH UNEASINESS
MOSCOW TALKS DELAY PEACE FRONT SUPPORTED (Reed. Oct. 6, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 5. The Istanbul correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain states that Turkish uneasiness over the mystery delay in the discussions by the Turkish Foreign Minister, Sarajoglu Bey, at Moscow, is openly expressed in the press. Inspired newspapers declared that tjie Balkan States would no’t consent to the slightest sacrifice impairing their dignity, honour and independence. One journal emphasises that staunch support of the British and French peace front is the sole means of escape from brutal invaders. A semi-official statement issued today at Ankara, however, is that the Turco-Russian talks are progressing in a most friendly atmosphere and will continue for several days. Instructions arrived in Moscow yesterday from Turkey for the Turkish Foreign Minister, Sarajoglu Bey. Great secrecy is being maintained regarding their nature ancl also when they will be communicated to the Soviet Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, M. Molotov.
