AIR FORCE POSITIONS OVER 2000 RECEIVED (Pol- Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Over 20t)0 applications and inquiries so far have been received in response to the advertisement published in most centres last Saturday calling for men between the ages of 18 and, 35 for various ground positions in the Royal New Zealand Air Force. The Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, stated yesterday that the number of positions to be filled was about 200. So great was the number of applications that supplies of forms at Auckland, Wellington, Petone and Dunedin were exhausted on Monday. Applications were still pouring in.
