American AirvVays to-day urged the Civil Aeronautics Authority to authorise a passenger and air mail service from California to Australia, via Honolulu. Canton Island, Noumea and Auckland. Mr. Charles Craddick, the airmail superintendent, opposed “stud service” originating from Honolulu.
