PATRIOTIC PURPOSES
EXTENT DEFINED FIRST GAZETTE NOTICE (Pin- Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A notice gazetted last night over the signature of the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, sets out that the following shall be approved patriotic purposes under the patriotic purposes emergency regulations: —The supply' during the war, as defined by r the regulations, of comforts, conveniences and special equipment to members of His Majesty's New Zealand naval, military and air forces and to New Zealand members of any other of His Majesty’s forces. This was the first notice under Regulation 28 of the new regulations, the Minister said, setting out lawful purposes for which funds may be raised and expended. There will be other notices declaring activities to be approved patriotic purposes under these regulations. N ;
