COASTAL TRADE The Kopara, which left Gisborne last night , for Napier, discharges at the Hawke’s Bay port to-day and works Coast bays to-morrow. The ship will load at Portland on Monday and at Auckland on Tuesday for Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier. The Pakura loads at Lyttelton tomorrow and at Wellington on Monday, for Napier, Waikokopu, Gisborne and the Coast. The ship is expected to arrive at Gisborne on Thursday. The Margaret W. arrived at Gisborne Jthis morning from Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. It is hoped to dispatch her to-night for Auckland. The Puriri commenced the discharge of her coal from Westport this morni.ng and leaves Gisborne to-night for Tokomaru Bay to complete discharge. Later the Puriri proceeds to Grey mouth. The Wainui leaves Dunedin on Monday, Oamaru and Timaru on Tuesday, and Lyttelton on Wednesday for Wellington, where she completes loading for Gisborne and Napier. The vessel is due here on October 16, MERCANTILE PAY The Maritime Board in London has agreed to the following war risk supplementary pay for mercantile officers and men: Officers and engineers, £5 a month; ratings, £3: 'boys, 30s. All such pay will be retrospective to September 15. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS Westport.— October 5: Arrived, Karitane, 4.5 p.m., from Gisborne.
