DUNEDIN TROOPS
MEN LEAVE FOR CAMP CONSCRIPTION URGED (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, last night. Yesterday’s drafts of men for the special military force to enter camps at Burnham and in the Waikato numbered 160. A big crowd watched the march to the,station and surged round the carriages once the men had been checked over. The Mayor, Mr. Allen, in an address, said he hoped the Government would introduce conscription ensuring the service of all according to their ability.
