INDIAN PROBLEM
A POSSIBLE SOLUTION JOHANNESBURG. Sept. 10. A “permanent solution” of the Indian problem in South Africa is being sought at present by the Minis’er of the Interior, Mr. R. Sluttaford. Officials of his department, it is understood, have advised that one nl the essential aspects of the plan is the question of Parliamentary representation for the Union’s Indian population. The scheme is' to give the Indians similar representation to that which is enjoyed at present by natives through the medium of their three European spokesmen in Parliament and the Senate,—Rand Mail,
