POLAND’S PARTITION ATTITUDE OF AMERICA (Reed. Oct. 3, 11.30 a.m.) -WASHINGTON, Oct. 2. The United States to-day refused to recognise the partitioning of Poland which the Secretary of State. Mr. Cordell Hull, termed the “Victim of force used as an instrument of national policy.” He added: “The mere seizure of territory does not extinguish its legal existence. The Government of the United States continues to regard the Government of Poland as in existence.”- %
The Ambassador to Poland, Mr. A. J Drexell Biddle, will continue to remain near the Polish Government.
