WAR RISK INCREASES
NEW ZEALAND RATES (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Union Steam Ship Company announces that the following war-risk surcharges on passengers and freights will be Directive as from to-day:— Passages.—All passage rates other Ilian New Zealand coastal rates, except cases in which deposit has been paid, 33 1-3 per cent. Freights.—Freight rates to Australia and Pacific Islands, 10 per cent; to Pacific coast of Canada and United States'and to India, 20 per cent.
