FIRE IN RAGLAN

Fire broke out on Saturday in the Farmers’ Trading Company’s large store at Raglan, and considerable damage was done before it was suppressed. The efforts made to suppress the fire were ultimately successful, but not before damage to stock estimated at £9OO was done by fire and smoke. A refrigerator exploded, and the resultant fire caused extensive damage to the building.
