WAR RISK REDUCED
AMERICA TO THE EAST (Reed. Oct. 2, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 29. The underwriters have reduced the war risk rates on cargo on belligerent vessels to the East and Far East, via Panama Canal, also direct from Pacific ports, the former to 2 dollars per cent. Rates via the Panama Canal were previously 3 dollars per cent and from Pacific ports 2.50 dollars.
