STEERS REACH £lO SALE AT MORRINSVILLE An entry of East Coast cattle offered at the Morrinsville stock sale on Friday attracted much attention, and sold at satisfactory rates. Three-year-old steers sold up to £lO. Prices for offerings of East Coast cattle were: — Ex Ruangarehu Station. Threeyear Polled Angus steers, £8 15s to £10; 2J-year Polled Angus steers, £7 15s to £B* 6s.
Ex Te Pora Station.—Three-year Polled Angus steers, £9 Is to £9 11s. Ex Pauraiki Station.—Three-year Hereford steers, £9 to £9 16s. Ex Mokomoko Station—Three-year Hereford steers, £8 10s to £9 4S; 21year Hereford steers, £7 9s to £7 19s. Other cattle prices were:—Heavy fat cows, £9 17s to £10; medium fat cows, £7 17s Gd to £8 10s; light fat cows, £5 10s to £7 7s; medium fat Jersey heifers, £5 14s to £G 10s; light fat Jersey heifers, £3 15s to £4 10s; heavy boner cows, £3 18s to £4 10s; medium, £2 15s to £3 10s; light, 35s to £2 8s; well grown yearling Jersey heifers, £4 7s Gd to £5 8s; medium, £3 to £4; empty 2-year Jersey heifers, to £4.
