The Wellington Rugby team overwhelmed Wanganui representatives in (he last match of the season played here on Saturday, the final score being 35 points to 13. The winning team backed up well and the home side did hardly any tackling. There was a very poor crowd in attendance, as seven of the home team had had to drop out, four on account of tile All Black trials in Wellington. Tries were scored for Wellington by Knowles (2). Wales (.3), G. Burns and Kenny. Baldwin converted five tries and Dance kicked a field goal, For Wanganui, McPike scored three tries and F. Thompson converted two.
