CANTERBURY WIN 40-9 (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day, in the final representative Rugby match of the season, Canterbury had a runaway victory from Ashburton, winning by 49 points to 9. Both teams were without, leading players. The play was erratic, but exhilarating at times. Canterbury scored nine tries, several in spectacular fashion.
