GOOD PROGRESS MADE
PRIMARY SCHOOL SPORTS FINALS THIS AFTERNOON The finals in all events at the annual sports meeting conducted by the Poverty Bay Primary Schools’ Sports Association were being held on the Oval this afternoon, good progress having been made with all the events this morning. All the contests with the exception of preliminary games in the girls’ basketball were held on the Oval, the basketball being played on the Basketball Association's courts in Childers road.
