OVER £60,000 DEFICIT
ESTIMATES IN QUEENSLAND

No remissions or increases in taxation are contained in the Budget presented in the Queensland Parliament by the Treasurer, Mr. F. A. Cooper. The revenue is estimated at £20,310,735 and the expenditure at £20.375,437
WESTERN AUSTRALTA
(Reed. Sept. 29,-2.40 p.m.) ■ PERTH, Sept. 29. Slight increases in taxation are provided for in the Budget presented by the Premier of Western Australia, Mr. J. C. Willcock. The revenue is estimated at £ll,186,012, and the expenditure at £ll,217,300. The remission on income tax will be reduced by 10 per cent. Probate duty will toe slightly increased.
