(Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. Attempts to warp the stranded steamer Port Bowen off to-day at high spring tide failed. A heavy sea was running and both lines attached -jo mushroom anchors carried away. The vessel is again broadside on to the beach.* ■'*
