SLOANE DEFEATS PARRIS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Syd. Sloane, Australia, proved himself a clever boxer with a heavily loaded right hand in scoring a technical knock-out over Billy Parris. Wellington, in the tenth round of the professional contest, scheduled for 12 rounds, last night A well-filled house enjoyed the contest, which was full of action. Parris used aggressive methods.
