CHANGES ANNOUNCED (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 28, 2.5 op.m.) LONDON, Sept. 27. A communique issued by the Ministry of Information states that modifications ihave been made in the control of the British Broadcasting Corporation. Sir Alan Powell, chairman, and Mr. C. 11. Millis, vice-chairman, now constitute the board. The Government appointment of other members has been terminated.
The question of programmes, the matter of hours and possible control of the service in emergency have been transferred to the Minister of Information. Sir Kenneth Lee has been appointed director of radio relations.
