ONE-DAY TOURNEY
SPORTS QUEEN EFFORT BOWLERS ON THE GREENS FIXTURE FOR SATURDAY In aid of the funds of lhe sports queen candidate's committee, bowlers of the Gisborne-East Const centre district will engage in a one-day tournament on all three town clubs’ greens on Saturday. The entries total 136, Poverty Bay having contributed 62, Gisborne 40, and Kahutia 36. and rinks have been chosen regardless of club affiliations.
Play will commence at 1.30 p.m., and three games of 10 heads each will be played. The respective sections are as under:—
