G.H.5.0.8. CLUB MEETS NEW MEMBERS ELECTED The club captain, Mr. D. A. Wells, presided over a very good attendance at the annual meeting of the Gisborne High School Old Boys Cricket Club. The report and balance sheet were read and those present commented favourably upon the satisfactory position. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr. J. Hutton; president, Mr. S. K. White; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Jolly, J. Jennings. T. W Wells, T. Sharp, W. F. Cederwall, and V. Butler; hon. secretary, Mr. C. T. Campbell; lion, auditor, Mr. W. S. McKee; club captain, Mr. D. Wells. The subscription was fixed at the same rate as last year. Three new members were elected, Messrs. J. McKnight, K. Flemming and G. Shepherd.

It was decided to send letters of appreciation to the Umpires’ Association, and to Mesdames Bignall and Lee for their unremitting efforts in the supply of afternoon tea at the Oval. Three teams, the same as last year, will be entered for the competition, one senior A and two senior B teams.
