Shepherds on Bicycles
The spectacle of a .shepherd carrying out his seasonal task of inspecting the ewes, is, at this time of the year, no unusual sight to travellers on the Napier-Taradale road. The s'ghl of a shepherd, complete with dog, going the rounds on a bicycle is not so common however, particularly when the stale of the weatbei and the nature of the ground to be covered is taken in.o account.
