RUMANIAN LEADER VICTIM OF ASSASSINS (Reed Sept. 25, 1.50 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 24. The Bucharest correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain states that the Rumanian nation is still mourning the late Prime Minister, M. Calinescu, whose funeral King Carol and Prince Michael and high officials attended. Thousands of people witnessed the procession to the station after the funeral service. The body was entrained for the family home at Curte3 de Arges. It is to proceed to the grave on a farm cart drawn, by six oxen.
