PILOT FLIES DAUGHTER
LONDON, Aug. 17.
When seven-year-old Sheila Higgins was flown by special plane from Ronaldsway, Isle of Man, to Liverpool Hospital for a hip operation, the pilot was her father.
He is air superintendent of Isle of Man Air Services. Sheila lay on a mattress, the plane’s seats having been removed, with her mother, a friend and a nurse by her side.
