Shaw, Kihikihi, Waikatd, that their daughter, Miss Jessie Shawl, has won the Australian Broadcasting Commission’s cup in the open contralto championship of the Sydney Eisteddfod. Miss Shaw has been h pupil of Mr. Roland Foster at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music during the last year.
