PUHA BADMINTON
FINAL club night (H«rnl<l Correspondent.) The Puha Badminton Club held its final night last week. Several members of the To Karaka club were present and some very interesting games were played. Arrangements were discussed for the forthcoming Miller Cup matches.
The results of the ' competition which the Puha dub had organised were announced, Mr Ivor Greer, Gisborne, winning the first prize, and Miss M. Kyne, Te Karalca. the second prize.
During an interval a dainty supper was served.
The players were:—Mesdames II O'Connell and K. Cranswick. Misses L. Ruru and J. Kyne, Messrs. A. Manuel and E. Ruru, all of Te Karaka club; Misses .J. and J. Scott N. Coates and G. Adams. Messrs F. Kemp, C. Brown, It. Coates. R Richmond, T. Saunders, and J. Cunningham.
