Traffic Prosecutions

For driving a motor car not fitted with an efficient screen-wiper, Charles Pcrc. a Maori, who tailed to appear, was fined 5s and'ordered to pay costs, 17s, when his case came before Messrs. Cha's. Matthews and A. A. Fraser, J.P.s, in the Police Court today. William Henry Hoi ter, who pleaded guilty to driving a tractor without possessing a license, was convicted and ordered to pay costs, 12s; and Robert Wallace, who failed to appear on a charge of cycling after dark without a lamp, was fined 10s, with costs 10s.
