LEADERS' LOOT “MONSTROUS PLUNDER” INVESTMENTS ABROAD PROVISION FOR FUTURE CAUSTIC COMMENT (Reed. Sept. 2.3, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept, 21. Prominence is given in London to American reports that seven Nazi leaders, including Herr von Ribbentrop, Marshall Goering, Dr. Goebbels, Herr Rudolf Hess, Herr Heinrich Himmler, and Herr Julius Streicher, have deposited cash and securities abroad totalling £3,334,000, and have also taken out life insurance policies in foreign countries to the total value of £3,640.600. The Daily Telegraph, in an editorial, says 'that Herr Hitler, to do him justice, comes’out of the investigation with clean hands. Herr von Ribbentrop heads the list of infamy. His ill-gotten provision for the future in American investments is estimated at £1.948,000. Dr. Goebbels is next with £1,798,000 and Marshal Goering with £1,501,000. The Daily Telegraph adds: “This is proof positive that these men have been ufiing the Hitler regime as a means of amassing monstrous plunder from the impoverished German people.”
