SUBSTANTIAL CREDIT

BARTLETTS TENNIS CLUB (Herald Correspondent.) The third annual general meeting of the Bartletts Tennis Club was held in the Y.M.C.A. Hall.

The annual report and balance sheet showed a substantial credit balance. The membership during the past season was 42, with a school membership of 52. It was decided that the subscriptions for the coming year should be the same as last year. The election of officers resulted: — Patron, Mr. L. Cooper; president, Mr. W. L. Bell: chairman, Mr. T. H. Walters; secretary-treasurer, Mr. R. A. Carswell; committee, Mesdames E. A. Smith, T. H. Walters, and IT. Borst, Miss L, Whiteford, Messrs. K. Muir, C. Feasey and A. F. Grieve; club captain, Mr. T. H. Walters; vice captain, Mr. K. Muir; grounds committee, Mrs. E. Smith, and Messrs. K. Muir, S. Feasey and A. F. Grieve. The official opening Of the courts will take place to-morrow.
