NAZI LEADERS INVESTMENTS ABROAD HITLER AN EXCEPTION £7,000,00 0 IN NEUTRALS AMERICAN REVELATION (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 22, 1 p.m.) LONDON. Sept. 21. A Daventry broadcast says a vast amount of interest has been aroused by the publication in America of details of investments alleged to have been made by seven Nazi leaders. Hitler is reported to be the only one not to have invested large sums abroad. The names mentioned are Ribbentrop, Goebbels, Goering, Himmler, Hess, StreiCher and Ley. Information of the investments is reported to be from reliable sources. Cash, investments and insurances held in neutral countries are stated .to be just on £7,000.000. Investments have been made in the following countries: South America, Japan. Luxembourg. Switzerland, Holland, Egypt, Estonia, Latvia and Finland. Von Ribbentrop is alleged to have invested £633,000 in cash ki Holland and Switzerland, besides insurances amounting to £1,250,000. Goering’s Huge Holdings Goebbels is alleged to have invested £927,000 in the Argentine, Luxembourg and Japan, and in addition is alleged to hold insurances. Goering is said to have investments and insurances abroad amounting to £1,500,000 and £715,000 respectively. ( Hess’ investments are stated to toe less than £500,000. Ley’s are reported as £378.000 and Himmler’s as about £'500.000. Berlin accuses Dr. Benes of having brought millions to London from Prague.

Dr. Goebbels is Minister of Propaganda; Rudolf Hess, deputy-leader of the Nazi Party: Marshal Goering, Air Minister and Commissioner for the Four Years’ Plan; Joachim von Ribbentrop, Foreign Minister; Heinrich Himmler, head of the Secrel Police; Robert Ley, Director of Organisation; Julius Streicher, leader of the antiJewish movement.
