NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE, Aug. 3. George Cecil Buchanan, 17-year-old schoolboy, learned yesterday that he is heir to £IB,OOO left by his uncle, r recluse. He saw his uncle, Hubert William Buchanan, only three times in his life. Mr. Buchanan shot himself in a 13roomed house at Newcastle, where he lived alone. No will could be found. His only brother —George’s father, Engineer Captain L. Buchanan, of the Royal Navy—was dead. Now the Probate Court has named George, the only nephew, as the heir to the recluse’s fortune.
