QUARREL WITH NAZIS

The Daily Express reports that lierr Julius Stretcher, the German Jew-baiter, is in protective custody at a sanatorium at Hohenlychen, near Berlin, having been dismissed from the position of gauleiter of Nurernburg and his money taken' from him.
He is reported to have had a dispute with the generals, who said that his bank account was far in excess of Ills earnings from newspaper salary.
■Herr Streicher replied: "Why shouldn’t I make something on the .side like the others? Look what Marshal Goering makes.” Marshal Goering was furious and ordered an investigation of Herr Streieher’s affairs. This allegedly revealed that Herr Streicher had appropriated huge sums from the Jews for his own use. Only Herr Hitler’s personal regard saved Herr Streicher trom facing a firing squad.
