In flic City of Adelaide table tennis singles championship final, Cantlay, New Zealand, beat Ilodge, 19—21, 21—18, 21—7, 21 —18. New Zealand defeated South Australia by six rubbers and 14 sets to hree rubbers and eight sots. In the doubles Boys and Cantlay won, 21—10, 22—20, and Algie and Boniface lost, B—2l,8 —21, 21 —14, 19 —21. In the singles, Boniface w0n,229,1 —9, 21—1 G; Algie lost, 17—21, 21 —l3, 19—21; Boys won. 23—25. 21 —14, M—!); Cantlay won, 21—15, 21 —15; Algie lost. 17—21, 11—21; Boniface won, 23 —21, 22—20; Boys won, 21—19, 10—21. 23—21. The New Zealand manager, Mr. Spooner, who has been, suffering from tonsilitis, is reported to have improved.
