Ex-Cricketer Honoured

Well known ir. Gisborne as a former representative cricketer and athletic enthusiast, Mr. H. F. Forstei*, who was transferred recently to Napier, has not been long in making his mark in cricketing circles in Hawke's Bay and he was recently appointed chairman of the management committee of the Hawke’s Bay Cricket Association, Soon after his arrival in Hawke’s Bay Mr. Forstcir was appointed to the management committee of the Hawke’s Bay Rugby Union and -now he has received this further appointment. While playing cricket in Gisborne Mr. Forster for several years held the record for the highest individual score, 248 not out 1 .
