U "ABERDEEN ANGUS SALE # "v LOWER prices rule The Poverty Bay combined breeders’ bull fair commenced at the Matawhero saleyards to-day with the offerino of entries from Aberdeen Angus .■studs. The attendance was not so large as usual, and numbered only "75 and the bidding was restrained, resulting in the values being lower than those of last year. ' The highest price during the morn,’ing was 39gns., secured by Ink of Te Ruanui, .rired by Captain of Mangamaire, the buyer being Mr. J. Eivers. Other prices ranged down to 20gns„ in a few instances entries were passed in at even lower figures. Bulls in the offering were two-year-olds. The morning’s business resulted as follows: W. Clark, Opou One bud to Waipaoa station. 3Ggns; one to Paparatu station, 30 gns; one to Paparatu station, 23gns; one to Mr. W.
