On Saturday night, the Poho-o-Rawiri Hall was the scene of a bright and cheery dance organised to further the candidature of Miss Tureia, the Maori representative in the centennial queen carnival campaign. The programme went well to music supplied by the Bing Boys’ Orchestra, the keen atmosphere being an added stimulus to dancing. Delightful extras were contributed by Miss Babhington, Tikitiki.
