GERMAN TACTICS MORE TOWNS CLAIMED CAPTURE OF PRISONERS EPIC AIR FIGHTING RAMMING OF INVADERS (Eloc. Tel. Copyright—United Pross Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 18, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 17. A communique issued by the Germany High Command states that motorised German troops yesterday reached Slozdomierz, far eastward of Przemysl. The ring round the Polish Army encircled at Kutno has been narrowed and strengthened for attack. The German troops south-east of Warsaw captured 8000 prisoners and 120 guns. The Germans to-day claimed the capture of Brestlitovsk and also the capture of Kutno. The German High Command claims that the German troops after the capture of Przemysl, officers have moved up to Silesia and are reestablishing the line obtaining before the Great War, meanwhile industrial plants are being reorganised to produce munitions for the conquerors.

The Polish Telegraph Agency In Paris states that Lieutenant Pilusinski single-handed attacked 12 German bombers. When his ammunition gave out, he deliberately rammed a German plane. Sergeant Barcinowsky, after shooting down a German bomber near Modlin, was wounded. He too rammed a plane, but was killed in the crash. Another Polish flyer, who followed suit, parachuted to safety.
