Catholic Congress
A pastoral letter from the Hierarchy of New Zealand was read in all Catholic churches yesterday drawing the attention of the people to the National Eucharistic Congress planned 'or February next year. The celebrations will serve as the Catholic contribution to the centennial celebrations. It was announced that it was intended to hold the celebrations as previously announced, as the Government had decided to continue with the Centennial Exhibition. It was also "nnsidered that the present world situation demanded greater spiritual effort.
