NO WAR RISK CLAUSE

INSURANCE CO. PLANS The National Mutual Life Assurance Company, Limited, has advised its agents in Gisborne of its plan in regard to insurance proposals offered by persons who later may undertake overseas service.

The company will accept, without the inclusion of a war-risk clause, proposals offered up to and inclusive of September 25, 1939. by persons not already committed to military service. In effect, those who have volunteered already and are committed to service in the New Zealand Special Military Force, will only be accepted as insurance risks by the company under policies containing a war-risk clause, which will entail a special loading of the premium. Those who have not yet enlisted, or otherwise committed themselves in respect: of overseas service, will be able to insure without the special loading. (Published by Arrangement)
