LABOUR PARTY EUCHRE (flornld Correspondent.) There was a good attendance at the 'euchre, party held by the Labour Party in the Patutahi Hall on Tuesday evening. The following were the winners:--Ladies.-—Mrs. McGrannachan. 1; Mrs. Lawless, 2. Men.—-Mr. D. Roger?. 1: Mr. D.-Eade. 2. Other players were: —Mesdnmes G. Batson and McGrannachan: Misses J. Manson, P. Manson. and N. Herninian; Messrs. D. Worsnop. C. McGrannachan, J, Manson. J. Herniman, J. Clacker, B. McGrannachan. David Worsiiop, R. Atkins. A. Worsnop, D. Er.de,'and J. Atkins.
■ Theft was a disappointing attendance at the meeting of the improvement circle of the Women's Institute on Wednesday afternoon, when a demonstration -in the making of cane .trays had been arranged.
