TOTAL INCREASED TO 417 (Per Praia Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. Although the first heavy rush was over, the officers and clerks engaged in attending to the applicants for acceptance in the special military force for service overseas or at home were kept busy again yesterday in Dunedin. The total when the office closed on Tuesday night was 341 and yesterday’s applications increased it to 417.

Medical examination began in the evening and will be continued for the remainder of the week and probably right through next week.
