TWO N.Z. WOMEN MISSING
PASSENGERS ON ATHENIA OTHERS REPORTED SAFE (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Government has received a cable from the New Zealand High Commissioner, Mr. W. J. Jordan, that Mrs. Marjorie Tomlinson, who was a passenger in the torpedoed liner Athenia, is safe, but there is no news so far of Misses Fletcher and Harper Mr. Jordan has been advised that Mrs. C. E. Carter, Palmerston North, was rescued.
