NEW ARMY OF CZECHS

FORMATION IN FRANCE UNIT OF 50,000 MEN * provisional government (Reed. Sept. 14, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 13. The Paris correspondent of The Times states that the Czech headquarters in Paris is forming an independent national army under its own flag and officers. A general mobilisation order will be issued to all Czechs of military age. Disobedience will be tantamount . to desertion. It is estimated that 50,000 men can be raised. General Ingre, who has been appointed Czech War Minister in a provisional Government under Dr. E. Benes, the former president of Czechoslovakia, with M. Osusky as Foreign Minister, and M. Outrata, as Finance Minister, is a capable soldier who commanded the Czech legions in the last war.
