RECORD SNOW FALL
COLD SNAP IN VICTORIA WIDE AREA COVERED (Reed. Scot. 12. 9 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Sept. It. Victoria shivered to-day under bitterly cold conditions. Snow fell over a wide area of the State, including many places where it had never been seen before. Heavy falls came within 20 miles of the c:ty. All mountain resorts report record falls.
