SUCCESSFUL YEAR
MANGAPAPA TENNIS CLUB ANNUAL MEETING The Mangapapa Tennis Club held its annual meeting in the Oddfellows Hall, Mangapapa. last evening, when there was a large attendance of club members. Reference was made by the chairman, Mr. I. Niven, to the successful year the club had experienced and the speaker also drew attention to the sound state of the club’s finances as shown in the balance sheet. The election of officers resulted:— Patron, Mr. R. M. Henson: president, the Rev. F. E. Leadley; vice-presidents, Messrs. L. Cooper, P. Sim, E. Glanville and A. Mclvor; chairman. Mr. I. Niven, hon. secretary, Mr. H. Wade: hon. treasurer, Mr. J. Nisbett club captain. Mr. E. Bennett; committee, Misses T. Sim. T. Candy, M. Crawford, R. Bignell and T. Muirhead. Messrs. I. Niven, H. Wade. E. Bennett, J. Nisbett and L. Ferris.
