ROYAL AIR FORCE PILOT HAWKE’S BAY, RESIDENT (P** r Pross Apßf>f*int.ioiO DANNEVIRKE, this day. Advice has been received by cablegram that Flying-Officer J. Drummond, a son of Mr. and Mrs. P. Drummond, Puketapu, Hawke’s Bay, was killed in an air accident on September 9. Fie was 25 years of age. He joined the R.A.F. in July. Previously he was employed in this district.
