Living in Workshops
People were living in workshops and garages all over the country, said tlie chairman, Mr. E. Windley, at a meeting of the Maknra County Council, Wellington. They had nowhere else to go at present, and it was possible that it. was the same all over New Zealand. The council had written to a man in Ncuviands who had been using a workshop as a dwellinghouse. The man’s explanation that he intended to build on the property and was living in the workshop in the meantime was accepted, and it was decided to take no further action.
