DUKE'S PLEA FOR FUND
BRITISH RED CROSS ORDER OF ST. JOHN (British Officii!l Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY. Sept. 9. The Duke of Gloucester has issued an appeal for funds as head of the Order of St. John and the British Red Cross Society, which during the Great War spent £7,000,000 on supplementary Government arrangements in hospitals and on providing recreative facilities for war workers.
