NOT YET DISCUSSED CAUCUS MEETING {Parliamentary Report nr. 1 WELLINGTON, this day. When the attention of the Acting Prime Minister, the Hon. P. Eraser, was drawn to-day to a persistent rumour that some alterations and additions to the Cabinet were being contemplated ‘by the Government caucus, he replied that such a thing was not beyond the bounds of possibility, but caucus had not yet reached a decision on the issue.

The caucus opened at 10.30 o’clock yesterday morning and continued until a late hour last night. Another early start was made to-day, but the business before the members was not completed at 1 o’clock to-day, when an adjournment was made for lunch.
